The People’s administration will create legislation that creates an individual health insurance group in each of the 50 states that will create a single source group with job classification ratings that will allow all uninsured people to be able to purchase insurance similar to New York States Essential plans. This will result in a re allocation of Medicaid funding to support various plans in both health insurance and catastrophic insurance authorizing such groups to be established without taxation and with specificity to healthcare risk groups. Coverage will still be defined by each States health insurance marketplace but now States would have the benefit of a large group to allow for insurance and actuarial participation by the insurance carriers. Drugs would be excluded. Religious vaccines will be restored because its the right thing to do.
Unlike Obamacare that sought to standardize the whole market, my plan will allow the States to set standardization based on a level of care and reimbursement under their current medicaid and child health insurance programs. Medicare Advantage plans should go away in favor of more expanded Medicare supplemental plans. It is my view that Medicare has been careless across the board and has not helped our Seniors reduce anything but the Money out of their retirement accounts.
